Kaima Beit Zayit, a non-profit educational farm, located just outside of Jerusalem, improves opportunities and choices for vulnerable Israeli teens and young adults and engages the larger community in the process. We are a proud member of the Amutat Kaima Educational Farming Network, which uses the tool of agricultural employment and the power of nature to reengage young people seeking alternative educational and social frameworks. Established in 2013, Kaima Beit Zayit is the movement’s mother farm and one of nine. All farms are guided by social farming principles which connect local agriculture to welfare and mental health care services.
